While tinned or canned corn can be used as a substitute, I highly recommend using fresh sweet corn for the best flavor in your salad. Fresh corn brings a natural sweetness and a crisp texture that can elevate the overall taste of the dish. The vibrant and fresh flavors of just-harvested corn can truly make a difference in the salad’s taste and freshness. If possible, opt for fresh corn to fully enjoy the deliciousness of the salad.
